Cobb County Schools, which saw staff reductions during the Great Recession, will hold a school hiring fair for the first time in eight years and will have several hundred job openings.

“All schools will be attending the hiring fair,” said KevinKiger, the executive director of employment. “So it’s an ideal time for potential members of the Cobb teaching family to make a great first impression on principals, who will be there to meet the candidates first-hand and to set up interviews.”

Cobb County schools have more than 111,000 students and is the county’s largest employer, with more than 13,500 employees.
