Clayton County school officials are looking to hire some more teachers.

Georgia’s fifth-largest school district is scheduled to have a job fair on Tuesday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mundy’s Mill High School, 9652 Fayetteville Road in Jonesboro.

Job seekers are asked to bring a resume, teaching certification and college transcripts. Out-of-state applicants are asked to provide certification eligibility and a letter from a college verifying the certification program.

Eleven percent of Clayton’s teaching positions are not filled, school officials said.

Interviews will be conducted on-site. The fair is open to the public.
