Hundreds of Christ the King School students and their families took part in the inaugural CKS Family Day of Service. Organized by the school's CKS Serves committee, the day included more than 11 service projects throughout Atlanta, assisting such organizations as St. Vincent de Paul, Atlanta Community Food Bank, 7 Bridges to Recovery and more. These projects included packing 700 snack bags for the homeless; donating thousands of clothing items for refugees; donating 725 books; and spending many hours gardening, building, cleaning and more.
