Anticipating a deep freeze, the Cherokee County School District is cancelling after-school and evening activities today.

Schools are expected to remain open until normal closing time, and the cancellation does not affect Elementary School After School Programs, which will operate under normal hours.

School officials say they will be monitoring the weather overnight and updating their website.
