Cherokee County schools teacher Debby Pinion, who teaches first grade at Woodstock Elementary School, is one of 1,000 teachers natoinally to win $1,000 worth of classroom supplies in the OfficeMax and Adopt-A-Classroom “A Day Made Better” award, which celebrates teachers for their extraordinary efforts. Research shows that teachers spend $1,000 out-of-pocket annually on essential classroom supplies.
