Christina Ashley, a graduate of Wesleyan School in Peachtree Corners, has been awarded a scholarship for full, four-year tuition at Salem College, the oldest continuously running women's school in the U.S. and one semester abroad. The Chatham Scholarship is one of Salem's most prestigious scholarships. Awarded to incoming first-year students, it is given to two young women in recognition of outstanding achievement and ability. Students are judged on the basis of academic performance and evidence of leadership, responsibility, and service to their community. Christina is from Stone Mountain, the daughter of Jeffrey and Leachia Ashley.
