Eleven students from Henry County's Union Grove High SchoolNathan Rhineheimer, Kaityln Mote, Andre Blair, Kimberly Erett, Matthew Seitz, Justin Gittemeier, Anthony Odom, Jake Hunt, Zainab Raja, Sapna Patel and Nimsa Asif — were among the 6,000 nationwide who competed in the National Leadership and Skills Conference, June 20 – 25, sponsored by SkillsUSA in Louisville, Ky. Rhineheimer, Mote, Blair, Erett, Seitz, Gittemeier and Odom competed in Quiz Bowl and placed 2nd in the nation. Raja competed in dental assisting and placed 12th. Hunt competed in architectural drafting and came in 15th. Asif and Sapna were among 23 other students in the nation selected to participate and compete as Models of Excellence Chapter.
