The women of the Atlanta branch of the National Association of University Women awarded more than $3,000 in scholarships to five high school students from Atlanta and the surrounding metro area. The scholarship recipients are Tije Wilkins (Arabia Mountain High School), Kia Smith (Redan High School), Jordan Mason (Riverwood International Charter School), Nia Peebles (North Springs Charter High School), and Khloe' Starling (St. Pius X Catholic High School). They were selected based on essays, academic accomplishments, community service, scholarship interviews, and letters of recommendation. They will continue their education at various institutions around the country.
