Atlanta schools will hold back-to-school open houses the week before classes resume.

Atlanta Public Schools has scheduled open houses -- a chance for parents and guardians to visit school sites before the first day of school on Aug. 12.

The open houses are scheduled by “cluster” -- the group of elementary and middle schools that all feed into a specific high school.

The following clusters will have their open houses on Aug. 8: 

Carver cluster (Carver, Carver Early College, Price, Sylvan Hills, Gideons, Finch, Perkerson, Slater, Thomasville Heights)

Elementary schools: 1-3 p.m.

Middle school: 3- 5 p.m.

High school: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Douglass cluster (Douglass, B.E.S.T., Coretta Scott King, John Lewis Invictus, Boyd, Harper-Archer, Scott, F.L. Stanton, Usher-Collier Heights, KIPP Woodson Park Academy)

Elementary schools: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.

Middle schools: 1- 3 p.m.

High school: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

B.E.S.T. Academy: 2-4 p.m.

Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy: 1-3 p.m.

North Atlanta cluster (North Atlanta, Sutton, Bolton, Brandon/Brandon Primary, Garden Hills, Jackson/Jackson Primary, E. Rivers, Smith/Smith Primary)

Elementary schools: 9-11:00 a.m.

Middle school: 4-6 p.m.

High school: 1-3 p.m.

South Atlanta cluster (South Atlanta, Long, Cleveland Avenue, Dobbs, Heritage Academy, Humphries, Hutchinson)

Elementary schools: 10 a.m.- noon

Middle school: 2-4 p.m.

High school: Noon-2 p.m.

The following clusters will have their open houses on Aug. 9: 

Grady cluster (Grady, Inman, Hope-Hill, Mary Lin, Morningside/Morningside Kindergarten Center, Springdale Park)

Morningside kindergarten annex: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Elementary schools: 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Inman Middle School: 2-4 p.m.

Grady High School: 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.

Maynard H. Jackson cluster (Maynard H. Jackson, King, Benteen, Burgess-Peterson, Dunbar, Barack & Michelle Obama, Parkside, F.A. Toomer)

Elementary school: 9-11 a.m.

Middle school: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

High school: 1-3 p.m.

Mays cluster (Mays, Young, Beecher Hills, Cascade, Miles, Peyton Forest, West Manor)

Elementary school: 9-11 a.m.

Middle school: 3-5 p.m.

High school: Noon- 2 p.m.

Therrell cluster (Therrell, Bunche, Continental Colony, Deerwood, Fickett, Kimberly)

Elementary school: 1-3 p.m.

Middle school: 3-5 p.m.

High school: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Washington cluster (Washington, Brown, Hollis Innovation Academy, M. Agnes Jones, Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy)

Elementary school: 11 a.m. -1 p.m.

Hollis Middle: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.

Brown Middle: 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

Washington High: 1-3 p.m.
