A group of Howard University students will visit Benjamin Mays High School on Wednesday to discuss their college experiences.

About 20 Mays students are expected to participate in the visit, which is part of the Greater Atlanta Urban Leagues’ Project Ready college preparedness program. The discussion will include information on admissions, class selection, and financial aid. Atlanta Urban League President and CEO Nancy Flake Johnson and Mays principal Richard Folwer are both Howard alumni.

The session begins at 10 a.m.

Project Ready, a signature program of the National Urban League, helps prepare African American students in 8th through 12th grades for academic, social and cultural success after high school.
