Students at KIPP Strive Primary School in west Atlanta received a surprise donation Friday of art supplies including paint brushes, craft supplies, construction paper and colored pencils.

The contribution of new and gently used supplies by the Savannah College of Art and Design was made in honor of America Recycles Day.

The art tools were given through the college’s Buzz Bus program, which has reached nearly 6,000 students since it began in 2010.
