These are unusual times for parents and students.

So Atlanta Public Schools is bringing back what has proven to be a popular format for answering questions about the district’s coronavirus response.

District officials will host a live virtual town hall on Facebook at noon Friday, April 17. It is the third such live event the district has hosted since school buildings shut down in mid-March in an attempt to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

In previous online sessions, Superintendent Meria Carstarphen has addressed questions about grades, online class participation, technology and food distribution and other issues.

Viewers can watch the town hall at: www.facebook.com/AtlantaPublicSchools.
