Atlanta Public Schools hire new CFO

Fulton County Schools Chief Financial Officer Robert Morales has been named the new CFO for the Atlanta school district.

The Atlanta Public Schools board approved his hiring at a June 1 board meeting.

Prior to serving as Fulton’s CFO, Morales held the same position in several other districts, including Cobb County.

Morales replaces former Atlanta CFO Chuck Burbridge.

He starts work July 1.
