The Atlanta School Board will meet a 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Atlanta Public Schools headquarters, 130 Trinity Ave., Atlanta, to consider the composition of a search committee for a new superintended. The district in December extended superintendent Erroll Davis’ contract by 18 months when Davis’ current contract ends in June. The board said it wanted to set in motion the search for his successor even though Davis has almost two years left on his combined contracts.
