Atlanta schools are offering Summer Academies to help students ward off “summer learning loss” and get on track in reading, math and science.

Rising first through eighth graders at high-poverty schools are eligible, though priority will be given to students who are performing below their peers.

The Summer Academies run from June 1-June 30 at select schools.

Parents can enroll their children online or by submitting a paper form to their child's school. The deadline to enroll is May 10.
