KIPP STRIVE Academy, a charter school in Atlanta’s West End neighborhood, is one of five finalists in a contest that could give the school a new science lab.

The $25,000 prize would be used to add moveable lab stations, lab stools, sinks, electrical outlets, glassware and microscope to the science lab, which currently is equipped with lab tables, plastic spoons and plastic storage tubs.

The prize, given through a FedEx campaign, will be awarded to the school that gets the most votes until Dec. 23 through http://blog.van.fedex.com/countlesspossibilities.
