The U.S. General Services Administration will donate $51,000 worth of used laptop computers to Atlanta Public Schools’ King Middle School today, including equipment from the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Building.

Nonprofit group PowerMyLearning installed education software on the laptops.

The donation is part of the federal Computers for Learning program. The program sends technology federal agencies no longer need to schools and nonprofit education organizations.
