The Atlanta Citizen Review Board will hold a children’s event at Greenbriar Mall on April 16 from 1-4 p.m.

The board is funded by the City Council and is charged with investigating citizen complaints against the police.

The event is part of the board's annual art and essay contest that asks students to complete the sentence, "Police officers in my neighborhood are …"

Prizes include gift cards, money and recognition at City Hall.

The contest is open to all students in living in Atlanta. Entry forms are available at Atlanta-Fulton Public Library branches. The contest ends April 22. For more information, visit www.acrbgov.org or call (404) 865-8622.
