March 4, 2014Atlanta’s school system stands to gain $5 million from added state spending on education, said Chuck Burbridge, the system’s chief financial officer.
The $5 million in additional money would contribute to revenue estimated at $610 million during next school year, Burbridge said Monday.
Atlanta’s Board of Education plans to pass a budget during April for the 2015 fiscal year, which begins July 1.
