Atlanta Public Schools appointed an interim chief financial officer as its current CFO moves away from the city.
Nader Sohrab, APS’ deputy CFO, will take on the duties effective March 13. Sohrab will oversee APS’ budgeting for the new fiscal year and manage the district’s finance division. Sohrab has been with APS for seven years.
The current CFO, Chuck Burbridge, is leaving to join his family in Chicago, according to a press release. Burbridge has been the CFO since 2007.
