Former Atlanta mayor and U.N. ambassador Andrew Young will speak to students at Dunwoody Elementary School on Friday as part of the school’s Black History Month programming.

According to a district release, Young will speak to students at 12:15 p.m. Friday. The theme of the talks is historically black colleges and universities, in keeping with a national theme of “Hallowed Grounds: Sites of African-American Memories.” Young, 83, is a graduate of Howard University of Washington, D.C.

Morehouse College alumnus Angelo Taylor, 37, a four-time Olympic medalist who won the 400-meter hurdles at the 2000 and 2008 Olympics, will speak to the students at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24.
