Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has agreed to pay $3,200 in monthly child support payments to a banker who is the mother of his child, according to the entertainment site TMZ.com.
Stacey Hott sued White for child support, claiming he was the father of her young son. TMZ, citing court documents it said it had obtained from Georgia, said a judge signed off on the payments this week.
TMZ said White also agreed to take out a “massive” life insurance policy on himself with the child as beneficiary and agreed to pick up Hott’s legal tab.
White signed a six-year, $48 million deal with the Falcons in August 2009. He was selected by the team in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft.
