There was no "mom I don't want to go to school today" from Connor Gregory.
The Florida senior has gone to school every single day for his 14 year classroom career, WBBH reported.
It all started when he was in pre-kindergarten when he won an award for not missing a day of school.
Then in fourth grade, he figured he should keep the record going.
And he did, for his entire time he was in school.
Only one time did Gregory's quest nearly come to an end.
When Hurricane Charley hit, school was unexpectedly in session three days after the storm. It was before all of the area's power was restored, so Gregory's dad told him to skip the shower, get dressed and go to school.
WBBH reported will be attending Florida State University in the fall. No word if he will try to keep the streak going.
