Cobb County Schools students return on Jan. 5 to start the second semester of the 2016-17 year. Here are key dates for parents to know for the remainder of the school year:
- Cobb County School District will be out for Martin King Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 16, which is a Monday.
- Winter break will be from Feb. 20 to Feb. 24.
- Students will be out for spring break April 3 to April 7.
- The last day of school will be on a Wednesday, May 24.
