China-based GreenView Floors International, which makes vinyl and laminate flooring, will build  its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Bartow County.

It will created an expected  238 jobs and invest $26 million to renovate a building in Adairsville, according to information from the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

“I am excited to welcome GreenView Floors International, Inc. to Georgia,” said Gov. Brian Kemp.

Headquartered in Nanjing, GreenView Floors operates under Nanjing MGM New Material Co., a privately-owned Chinese company whose clients include Mannington USA, Hagebau German, COSTCO, and Walmart.

“Adairsville is glad that GreenView Floors has decided to invest in our community,” Adairsville Mayor Kenneth Carson said.

GreenView will renovate and move into a vacant building on Princeton Boulevard, according to a press release.

The Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development helped land the deal.

Pat Wilson, the state economic development commissioner, said: “This is an exciting project for our economic development partners in Bartow County.

“I am confident that GreenView Floors International, Inc. will find success in Georgia as they grow to meet the needs of their customers.”
