Beth Chapman, of the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" television show, underwent surgery Tuesday as her throat cancer has returned, her lawyer, Andrew Brettler, told ETonline.

The wife of Duane Lee "Dog" Chapman was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after she said she was having trouble, according to a report from TMZ.

"I can confirm that Beth was hospitalized today and underwent surgery to remove a mass in her throat, which was determined to be a re-occurrence of the cancer," Brettler told ETonline. "I understand that the situation is very serious. We are all concerned for her and the well-being of the Chapman family.

In September 2017, Beth Chapman, 51, was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer, ETOnline reported. She later said that she was cancer-free.
