Authorities have arrested one of two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting inside a Rockdale County home this month.

On May 13, the sheriff’s office responded around 2:30 p.m. to a “trouble unknown call” on Fountain Crest Drive. When deputies entered the residence, they found a 45-year-old man who had been shot in the head three times.

The victim, identified as Francoise Adam, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He died last weekend, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday.

Authorities had released a photo of the two possible suspects after the shooting and asked for the public’s help in locating them.

On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said 19-year-old Ryan Mulqueen was taken into custody with the help of the New York Police Department. The other suspect, 28-year-old Mikle Talyzin, is still at large.

Mulqueen is facing charges of murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and home invasion.
