1 shot to death in NW Atlanta neighborhood

A man was killed Saturday in a shooting outside of a northwest Atlanta home, according to officials.

Atlanta police got a call about a person being shot in the 1200 block of Gun Club Road around 1 p.m. The area is east of Hollywood Road and west of Proctor Creek in the Almond Park area.

When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old who had been shot multiple times inside a vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene. His name was not released.

Police have not shared any other details.
