Two women lured a Sandy Springs woman into a car, kidnapped and robbed her near Roswell Road, police say.
Juana Figueroa saw two women in a parked silver four-door Honda Sedan after she walked out of her apartment on April 8.
The driver told her the passenger in the back seat was about to faint, according to a police report.
Figueroa looked in the back of the car and the rear passenger asked her to get in. When she refused, the passenger pulled a gun and forced Figueroa into the car.
The women kidnapped Figueroa and stole more than $2,500 worth of valuables from her. They stole her cell phone, jewelry and $200 cash, leaving her stranded.
They headed south on Roswell Road.
“In my 27-year career, I can’t recall this kind of M-O with two females robbing and kidnapping a second person,” Sgt. Ron Momon told Channel 2 Action News.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sandy Springs police.
