A woman was carjacked by two men, one of whom was armed, outside a Kroger in Decatur, police said.

Monday shortly before 10:30 p.m., the victim left the Kroger in the 700 block of Commerce Drive and walked to the trunk of her car, Decatur police spokeswoman Jennifer Ross said.

The woman saw two men walk toward her on Commerce Drive, but did not think much of it, Ross said. Then she went to the driver’s side of her car, and the men came up behind her.

One man put a handgun to the side of the woman’s head, and told her not to draw attention to herself, Ross said. The gunman then grabbed her keys and got into the car through the driver’s door. The other man got in through the front passenger door.

The men drove away westbound on Commerce Drive, Ross said. The car was found abandoned in southwest Atlanta on Tuesday morning.

The gunman was described as 16 or 17 years old, about 5-foot-7, with dark complexion, Ross said. He was wearing a maroon hoodie with white trim and dark pants or shorts. The handgun was black.

The other man was described as about 16 or 17 years old, about 5-foot-7, with a dark complexion, Ross said. He was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants or shorts.
