Three men charged in Hall County shooting death

Three men have been jailed in connection with a fatal shooting in Gainesville on Monday night.

Police responded about 6:30 p.m. to the shooting at Orchard Brook Apartments, Gainesville police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said. The victim, Jaquerian Harrison, 21, of Gainesville, had been shot several times. He later died after being taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Kevin Michael Turner, 28, of Gillsville; Brandon Scott King, 27, of Gainesville; and Cheslen Dequan Bell, 20, of Gainesville, have been charged with felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Turner also has been charged with possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
