The last remaining suspect in a deadly shooting outside the Mall at Stonecrest two months ago has been arrested, authorities said Monday.
Trayvon Ramon Williams, 25, of Decatur, was taken into custody Monday at an apartment complex off Covington Highway, according to a news release. He is the third suspect to be arrested in connection with the Sept. 29 shooting that left Kevin Downer dead.

Jermel Campbell was arrested and Taron Williams turned himself in last month, AJC.com previously reported. They are all charged with felony murder.

Police responded after they received a call just before midnight reporting a man had been shot, DeKalb police spokesman Sgt. J.D. Spencer said at the time.

Mcleod-Downer was found with a gunshot wound to his back in the parking lot of the mall’s Stonecrest 16 movie theater and the Round One arcade. He later died at the hospital, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent.
“It was reported that several suspects shot the victim after a verbal dispute outside of Round One,” Spencer said.
After the shooting, police said they interviewed two persons of interest. It’s unclear how the suspects were connected to the shooting.
