It didn’t take cops long to arrest four men who lingered in a Clayton County neighborhood after they allegedly committed an armed robbery, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The victim called 911 not long after four men stole his money and cellphone, the station reported.

Just as he arrived to a neighbor’s home on Portland Place and asked for help, the two spotted the alleged suspects still in the neighborhood, according to the news station.

Officers who were already patrolling the area arrested the men, saying they were trying to dump the stolen items at a home.

“They’re not geniuses, that’s for sure, “ Clayton County assistant police chief Joe Woodall told Channel 2.

The men face armed robbery charges.
