Police in Alpharetta are looking for two people who attacked a teenager at an apartment complex and robbed him at gunpoint.

The incident happened in the Webb Bridge Crossing apartment complex on Webb Bridge Court, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police told the news station the victim was in the parking lot when he was approached and hit from behind. Then, someone pointed a gun in his face and demanded his cash and cellphone, authorities said.

“He did receive a laceration in the eye from being struck in the face,” Alpharetta police spokesman Sgt. Howard Miller told Channel 2.

Miller said investigators believe the robbers were also teens. However, they don’t think the victim and robbers knew each other.

An investigation is ongoing.
