Shortly before police found him dead on I-20 in DeKalb County, cameras inside a Forest Park strip club showed 25-year-old Fernando Worthy speaking with a group of men.
At the end of a 41-second video clip Forest Park police released Tuesday, Worthy and the men leave Rumors Gentlemen’s Club on Jonesboro Road together.
Investigators said they want to talk to those men.
“The Forest Park police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying these persons of interest,” Maj. Chris A. Matson said Tuesday.
Just before 4 a.m. May 12, DeKalb police responded to a single-vehicle accident on an entry ramp from northbound I-285 to westbound I-20, Matson said. Worthy was on the passenger side of the vehicle, dead from an apparent gunshot wound, DeKalb police Maj. Stephen Fore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution last week.
The investigation prompted officials to close the entry ramp and a westbound lane of I-20 for more than six hours.
The driver, who has not been identified, told police the shooting happened at Rumors, Matson said Tuesday. Fore previously said the driver was cooperative from the start of DeKalb’s investigation.
Forest Park police are asking anyone who can identify the men seen in the video clip to call 404-366-4141 or 404-608-2388.
