2 stabbings in NW Atlanta are unrelated, police say

Atlanta police are investigating two stabbings in Northwest Atlanta.

March 3, 2017Atlanta police are investigating two stabbings in separate parts of the city Friday that sent victims to the hospital.
In the first case, a man was found stabbed in the neck on Booker Street in northwest Atlanta, police spokesman Officer Donald Hannah said. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
“We are waiting on updates in regards to his status,” Hannah said.
Police are also investigating a stabbing at a BP gas station on Spring Street about 1:20 p.m., Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Lisa Bender said. That victim, who was stabbed in the face, was also taken to Grady.
The cases are not related, police said.
No arrests have been made and both investigations are ongoing.
