A Stone Mountain man with a lengthy rap sheet was arrested again Thursday evening when Atlanta police spotted him driving a stolen car, authorities said.

Eddie Brantley, 45, was arrested for the 70th time after officers pulled him over in a vehicle that had been taken from a dry cleaner hours earlier, Atlanta police said on Facebook.

Police said the vehicle was stolen just after 7 p.m. when a Midtown resident left it running outside a business along West Peachtree Street while they ran inside.

Brantley was stopped in the car about three hours later on Broad Street in northwest Atlanta, police said. He was charged with theft by receiving stolen property, Fulton jail records show.

The DeKalb man has previously been arrested for armed robbery, burglary, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police, who used Brantley’s arrest to remind residents to remove their keys and lock their car doors when getting out.

The alleged incident happened earlier this week at Childtime of Kennesaw on Cobb Parkway.
