Police: Man beheads his mother for nagging

Christian Gomez told cops he was tired of his mother pestering him about putting away some boxes.
Sheriff Bob Gualtieri told CNN that the mother's nagging made Gomez, 23, kill his mother by decapitating her with an ax.
When cops caught Gomez riding his bicycle several blocks away, he admitted to killing his mother, 48-year-old Maria Suarez-Cassagne.
Gomez put his mother's head in a trash can, and tried to do the same with her body. When it wouldn’t fit, he took off.
The New York Daily News reports Gomez has been in trouble before. In 2009, there were charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. In 2014, he was taken into custody for loitering and prowling.
Neighbors were shocked, saying Suarez-Cassagne was a good mother and a kind woman.
Gomez is being held without bail on charges of first-degree murder.
