Police investigating two DeKalb shootings
DeKalb County police respond to a shooting in Decatur. It was one of two in the county Thursday night.
Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred Thursday night in DeKalb County.
About 8 p.m., a person was shot in the leg on Emerald North Drive in Decatur, DeKalb police Lt. Lonzy Robertson said.
A second shooting took place in Kensington Court, Channel 2 Action News reported. That person was taken to the hospital with “moderate” injuries.
Police do not believe the shootings were related, according to Channel 2.
