Smyrna police found a man and a woman dead in a home on Concord Lane Sunday.
A 911 call alerted authorities about two individuals found shot and unresponsive, Smyrna police said in a news release.
Officers found a dead middle-aged man and woman.
The cause of death appears to be from gunshot wounds in what appears to be a murder-suicide, police said.
Detectives were investigating at the residence Sunday evening and withholding the names of the dead pending notification of next of kin.
