Police made an arrest late Friday in a fatal pre-dawn shooting in southwest Atlanta.

The suspect, identified by Atlanta police as Kelvin Maurice Clinkscales, has been charged with felony murder in the fatal shooting of an unidentified man around 2 a.m. Friday.

Atlanta police said they arrived at the home at 37 Harlan Road and found a male victim dead at the scene.

“We found a 20-year-old male shot and killed … and a fair amount of drugs in the house,” Atlanta Police homicide unit commander Lt. Paul Guerrucci said.

A second person arrived at South Fulton Medical Center in critical condition from a gunshot wound. Police said the two shootings were connected.
