West Point police have arrested one of three men wanted on murder charges Friday morning.

Octavious Bridges, 24, was arrested in Fairburn for his alleged connection with a homicide of Reggie Pearson, 50, of Valley, Ala. on Wednesday, West Point police said in a news release.

The United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of Atlanta also assisted with the arrest, the release said.

Trent Murphy, 24, and Eric Bridges, 25, are also being sought by police for murder regarding the same homicide, the release said.

West Point is located in Troup and Harris counties, which is southwest of Atlanta and borders Alabama.
