A woman trying to cross a street near Norcross was hit and killed in the 6100 block of South Norcross Tucker Road on Sunday night.
The driver, in a dark-colored pickup truck, drove off after hitting the woman, police said.
Officers responded to the incident about 9:30 p.m.
“When they arrived, they located the female victim lying in the roadway,” Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Collin Flynn said.
