A 12-year NFL veteran was booked into the Cobb County jail Wednesday after he allegedly stole items from his girlfriend’s apartment, police said.

Anthony “Tony” McDaniel was charged with burglary. He since has bonded out of jail, sheriff’s spokesman Glenn Daniel said.

The victim told police McDaniel came to her apartment seeking cash and left with her car keys and cellphone.

McDaniel, 33, played in five games in 2017, one with the New Orleans Saints and four with the San Francisco 49ers. He is currently a free agent.

A defensive lineman, he broke into the NFL in 2006 with Jacksonville and played in all 16 regular-season games for the champion Seattle Seahawks in 2013.
