2 missing brothers spotted at Tennessee Walmart

Authorities continued searching Friday for two young brothers missing from metro Atlanta, and they received new information in the case.

Police released surveillance photos of the two boys and their father taken at a Walmart in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Sunday and Monday.

Ben Cleary, 9, and Henry Cleary, 7, are believed to be with Daniel Cleary, their father, who lives in Roswell and was supposed to return them to their mother in Suwanee on Wednesday, according to the amber alert issued by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The organization sends out the alerts when children are missing and believed to be in danger.

The boys’ mother is worried.

“I last heard from them on the 22nd of December,” Theresa Nash told Channel 2 Action News. “Since then, his phone has been shut off. I got suspicious when I didn’t hear from them by the end of the day Christmas.”

Roswell police spokesman Lt. James McGee told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that police had gotten a few calls from people who think they saw the vehicle, and that they’re checking them out, but he would not say where those calls have come from.

Daniel Cleary, 46, is 6 feet tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has medium-length gray hair and brown eyes, according to Roswell police.

Ben Cleary was last seen wearing a light blue winter vest. He weighs 66 pounds and is 4-foot-8.

Henry Cleary weighs 60 pounds and is 4-foot-5. He was also last seen wearing a light blue winter vest.

Daniel Cleary is believed to be in a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, temporary tag number 10742627. He may be traveling on Interstate 40 near Nashville.
