2 men arrested for allegedly possessing Oxycodone in Hall County

Two men were arrested in Hall County for allegedly possessing Oxycodone and synthetic cannabinoids, authorities said.

Nicandro Alonso Aguilar-Juarez, 26, of Flowery Branch and Thomas Raychon Martice, 22, of Gainesville, were arrested Wednesday by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release.

They were arrested in a hotel room located in the 3500 block of Thurmond Tanner Road without incident, the release said.

Aguilar-Juarez allegedly had a probation warrant issued in September for possession of marijuana, the release said.

Both men are currently at the Hall County Jail, and an immigration hold has been placed for Aguilar-Juarez, the release said.

An investigation is ongoing.
