Police are searching for a man they said shot his girlfriend in her thigh during a fight Wednesday in Lawrenceville.
Anh Bui, 40, was accused of shooting the woman about 3 a.m. in the 400 block of Coalville Drive, police said.
“Bui pulled a semi auto hand gun and shot the victim once is the left thigh and then fled the scene in the Toyota Venza,” Lawrenceville police Capt. Greg Vaughn said.
The car is a 2010 Toyota Venza with a Texas tag BH2V536, Lawrenceville police said.
Warrants have been issued for Bui’s arrest on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and cruelty to children. Bui is described as a Vietnamese male, 5 feet 8 inches and 160 pounds.
The injured woman was in surgery Wednesday morning, but her condition is unknown at this time.
