A 4-year-old was playing with his tablet inside a laundromat when a man snatched it out of his hands and ran.
In that instant Tamara Nolan said her son was left wondering why someone would snatch his tablet out his hand.
“It really hurt my son,” Nolan told Channel 2 Action News. “He kept asking, ‘Mommy, Mommy, am I gonna get my tablet back?’”
Nolan and her two children were at The First Coin Laundry on Tara Boulevard in Clayton County when a man walked in with a cell phone to his ear, the news station reported. She then heard one of her sons scream out, “Mommy! Mommy!”
“I looked back and (my son says) that guy just took Cameron’s tablet,” she told Channel 2.
The man was last seen wearing a Nike shirt, green pants and lime shoes crossing the intersection of Tara Boulevard.
“He almost got his by a car running across the street,” Nolan said. “Just running from stealing a tablet could have killed himself.”
There is location tracking on the device, but it was not activated.
Nolan only asked one thing of the alleged thief: “Please turn yourself in and give back what belongs to my 4-year-old son.”
