Car thief sought after shooting owner in South Fulton

South Fulton police are looking for a car thief who shot the owner early Thursday and took off in the man’s vehicle.
The victim was shot in the leg about 6 a.m. at a home in the 4600 block of Marching Lane, according to police. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, officials said.
The shooter sped off in a black 2008 Lexus ES with Mississippi tag 305MQ, according to police. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Photos taken at the scene showed a window at the home shattered and a screen broken.
