Man shot in head in critical condition
A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the West Point Police Department.
The shooting happened on the 1200 block of East 14th Street, police said. The man was initially taken to take to G.H. Lanier Memorial Hospital but was later flown to the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
